Vision for a Home Business

A leader’s main ingredient is a passionate belief in where they are going in building a successful home based business. All leaders have it. For example, if we examine the life of Mother Teresa we will discover a similar passionate belief. Examine any leader’s history and we will find this ingredient and that is one key to developing a long term sustainable residual income. Leaders believe in what they are doing and where they are going passionately and have absolute resolve in developing their home based business!

Leaders do what the average person will not do to build a residual income. It’s not that they find it easier or more agreeable they just have a sense of purpose that leads them to discipline themselves and do the work in building a home based business. When one fully investigates the qualities of leadership by studying leaders and what makes them different they discover a tremendous discipline to do things daily that lead them to their goals and creating a residual income. Success habits have replaced negative habits in their lives. Leaders will journal, read, sacrifice short term pleasures, get up earlier, work longer, do the uncomfortable etc. They exhibit patience and focus always.

The vast majority of people that embark on the path towards leadership this passionate belief is lacking initially which also shows up in their residual income. Their past does not give them confidence that they can reach their goals so they really do not yet enjoy the reality of an absolute passionate belief. They have HOPE but not belief yet. That’s fine for it is the beginning of a process for building a sustainable home based business. Leadership is a process and building one’s HOPE into a passionate belief is a process as well. They are one major decision away from a long term healthy home based business.

Here is one lesson that is critical to learn. All leaders have learned their skills from other leaders one way or the other. There are no “born leaders”. Leaders learn how to lead by first becoming followers themselves and learning how to lead by example as they build a home based business. This lesson many people take a long time to understand or even believe it is necessary if they want a residual income or what I like to call a freedom income. Their minds are closed and they believe they know better, they don’t believe they need to follow anybody. I lived through this experience for many years as I struggled with life and learning leadership. My friend and mentor Cameron was finally able to make me see, through his shear patience this profound wisdom. It didn’t hurt me to let Cameron help me be better and allow him to help me with my home based business. I had to open my mind to Cameron’s teaching and examine my beliefs which were not serving me or helping me in developing a home based business. Anybody can be a leader in time because anybody can change. We all have the ability to choose. We need mentors and coaches to help us do so.

Ask yourself this very important question that all leaders pose themselves regularly. “Why would anybody follow me?” Then look around and see who is following you and between the two there should be many more questions to ask that will lead you to discovery, important discovery! Now, this may seem like common sense but ask yourself if you have ever opened yourself up to this concept. Why not ask those around you for an honest assessment of your leadership qualities as it relates to a home based business. This takes courage and resolve in order to be constructive if you ever truly want to help people create a sustainable residual income. If those around you are not leaders themselves there maybe a problem because leaders hang out with leaders. Find some leaders and do as they do for building a home based business. This principal is as old as the Wisdom of Solomon and can be found in all of the master’s writings. Seek wise counsel!

What leaders do is inspire and encourage, share information and lead by example patiently. If one is lacking the confidence one needs to have a passionate belief. Spend enough time around a leader and it will come! They already have it and will show you how as well on how they did it to have a healthy and successful home based business.

A passionate belief in their vision is the major ingredient that empowers a leader with persistence to achieve their goal of having a residual income and a successful home based business. A quote from Benjamin Disraeli on this subject. “Nothing can resist a human will which will stake even its existence on the extent of its purpose.” Leaders are just ordinary people that do extraordinary things at developing a residual income in a home based business. Courage and total commitment flow out of a burning desire, a purpose led life, a passionate belief. They have made their decision to be successful in their home based business.
